Where The Phoenix Foundation Currently Works

The Phoenix Foundation's corporate office is based in Nashik, Maharashtra, at Suyog Trade Centre. Our active, on-ground programmes — including our Mobile Medical Unit (MMU), skill development training, women empowerment initiatives, and child education support — currently run across West Bengal, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.

We don't yet have an active MMU route or physical programme presence in Hyderabad or Telangana. But given how often people from the region search for us, it's clear there's real interest — from individual donors, volunteers, and CSR teams alike — in what an NGO like ours does and how they could support it, even from outside our current operating states.

Why the Interest From Hyderabad Matters

Hyderabad has a strong base of companies with active CSR programmes, particularly in the IT and pharmaceutical sectors — both industries with a track record of funding healthcare and skill development initiatives in underserved parts of India. Many CSR teams don't require their funded programme to run in their own city; they're looking for a credible, verified NGO with strong ground execution, regardless of geography.

If your company is based in Hyderabad and is exploring CSR partnerships in healthcare, skill development, or women's empowerment, The Phoenix Foundation is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, and holds 80G, 12A, and CSR-1 certification — the core requirements for CSR-compliant funding, wherever your company is headquartered.

Can Individual Donors From Hyderabad Support Us?

Yes. Donations, whether monetary or in-kind (clothes, books), are welcome from anywhere in India, and are tax-exempt under our 80G certification regardless of where the donor is based. Your contribution goes directly toward our active programmes in West Bengal, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.

Are There Plans to Expand to Hyderabad or Telangana?

As our MMU and skill development programmes grow, expanding into new states — including Telangana — is part of our long-term roadmap. Expansion into any new region depends largely on partnerships with local CSR sponsors and community organisations, so if you're based in Hyderabad and want to help bring our programmes to Telangana, we'd genuinely like to hear from you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does The Phoenix Foundation operate in Hyderabad? Not currently — our active programmes run in West Bengal, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, with our corporate office based in Nashik, Maharashtra.

Can a Hyderabad-based company still partner with The Phoenix Foundation for CSR? Yes — CSR funding doesn't need to match your company's location. We're CSR-1 certified and can structure a partnership around any of our active programme states.

Can I donate from Hyderabad even though there's no local programme? Yes, donations from anywhere in India are welcome and tax-exempt under our 80G certification.

Will The Phoenix Foundation expand to Telangana in the future? It's part of our long-term plan, contingent on building the right local and CSR partnerships.
